A solid city bicycle with a shaft drive, using the best available components and an European produced aluminium frame. This is what bicycle company Brikbikes had in mind for the new Brik Brut.

The Brik Brut is designed specifically for the use of the unique and solid shaft drive. Brikbikes is known for their expertise and the use of the shaft drive as driving line for bicycles. From this experience all frame components were revised and the production is done with the most modern techniques in Europe. The dimensions of the frame have been adjusted specifically for the shaft drive with gearing options and the best quality aluminium tubes are used, which are made from 70% or more recycled material.

The Brik Brut is available in men’s and women’s frame sizes and can be customized by choosing the preferred colour, upgrades and accessories.

High Tech Aluminium frame

The Brik Brut frame is designed for a comfortable ride and daily use. All aluminium frame components are engineered to ensure a long lifetime and the optimal integration of the shaft drive. The frame is produced using the most modern cutting and welding techniques. The aluminium tubes are made from 70% or more recycled material. All frames are built in Europe and different frame heights are available.

Shaft drive system

The Brik Brut is specially designed for the unique shaft drive system. The shaft drive is part of the frame design and is very reliable and durable. This maintenance-friendly drive does not need to be lubricated and always runs smoothly. The Brik Brut is the ideal city bike for daily use with an excellent, smooth riding experience.

Choose your own colour

The customer can choose from 16 standard colours and even a custom colour is possible. The frame and all components are prepared and then powder-coated with multi layers of high-quality coating. With this approach every Brik Brut is unique.

Choose your upgrades

To make the Brik Brut even more unique, a series of accessories and upgrades can be chosen. The customer can select different gear options, tires, carriers, integrated lightning and also a leather saddle and grips are available.

Hand built on Customer order

All Brikbikes are custom built at our own factory in Elst, The Netherlands. Our small and dedicated team is responsible for the complete process from order to delivery. With this assembly approach and attention to the customer wishes high quality standards and durability is guaranteed.
