Shaft drive
Brik Brut models use a shaft drive system. Brikbikes is a big proponent of this system, as the advantages over the bike chain are great. That’s because the shaft drive is reliable, strong and low-maintenance.
Nexus 3 speed coasterbrake
The Nexus 3 speed hub is a basic but very reliable hub. With the 3 gears you can reach all parts of the city. With the coasterbrake you don’t have any braking cables which makes the Brik Brut a very clean bicycle.

Every Brikbike is unique. Made especially for you. Configure your own bike and we will make it exactly the way you want it to be. All Brikbikes are custom built at our own factory in Elst, The Netherlands. Our small and dedicated team is responsible for the complete process from order to delivery. With this approach high quality standards and durability is guaranteed.
Aluminium frame
The Brik Brut frame is designed for a comfortable ride and daily use. All aluminium frame components are european engineered to ensure a long lifetime and the optimal integration of the shaft drive. The aluminium tubes are made from 70% or more recycled material.
