What is the correct way of shifting gears?

When you want to shift you’ve to reduce the pressure on the pedals. In addition, you should always shift one gear at a time. If you don’t shift this way there is a chance that your hub gets damaged.

Choosing a bicycle

I want to see the bike first and try it out. Is this possible?

Together with our dealers, we want to make our Brik bikes available for a test run, technical questions and service. On the dealer page, you will find the nearest dealer in and outside of the Netherlands.

What frame size do I need?

For the right frame size you can follow these general guidelines:

  • Persons taller than 1.63m (5.35ft) need a 56 frame.
  • Persons taller than 1.66m (5.45ft) need a 59 frame.
  • Persons taller than 1.90m (6.23ft) should choose a 65 frame.

Of course, you can adjust your saddle in height. Please keep in mind that these lengths and sizes are for general body measurements. To be sure, please visit a dealer near you for advice.

Can I really choose any colour I want?

You bet! For a fixed price you can choose from our sixteen selected colours. But for an extra charge, you can choose any RAL colour. RAL is a European coding system to define colours of paint and other coatings. The colour palette can be found on www.ralkleur.nl.

Ordering

Is it possible to order multiple Brikbikes?

Of course, we can make several Brikbikes for you. For example, for the whole family or for a company or organisation. Please contact us for more information. Perhaps we can offer you a price advantage.
